A one-of-a-kind 48 × 36 original oil painting, created by hand as an heirloom portrait of your lake house, waterfront view, or family place.
We begin with a photograph review and a 30-minute call or meeting about the property, the view, and the details you want to keep recognizable. When practical, commissions in the Southeastern United States and Appalachian region can include in-person studies. I then develop the painting slowly in layers and share progress as the work takes shape.
HOW TO BEGIN
Pay the full $4,800 through this page, or send your photographs first at lakehouseportraits.com/begin. After I review the project, I can issue a $2,400 deposit invoice to reserve your studio time. The remaining $2,400 is due after final approval and before hand delivery or shipping.
The schedule, reference photographs, delivery method, and payment dates are confirmed in a written commission agreement before I begin.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
• One original 48 × 36 oil painting

• In-person studies when practical within the Southeastern United States and Appalachian region
• Progress updates as the painting develops
• Standard U.S. shipping, with hand delivery arranged when practical
Please allow at least 90 days. Timing may vary with travel, season, studio schedule, and the curing time required by the painting. The finished painting is delivered unframed.
