I want you to feel comfortable ordering Lakehouse artwork online. If a canvas print, giclee fine art print, wall tapestry, or puzzle is not right for your space, you can start a return within 7 days of delivery.

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery.
Choosing art online asks for trust: the scale, the color, the mood in the room, and the small difference between liking a piece on a screen and wanting to live with it. This policy is here to make that decision feel less risky.
If the piece arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, I will help make it right. If the piece simply is not the right fit for your space, you can still start a return within 7 days of delivery; return shipping for fit or preference returns is the buyer's responsibility.

This policy covers Lakehouse shop purchases in those four formats.
For size, color, room fit, or preference returns, the buyer pays return shipping.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect orders are handled separately and should not cost you to fix.
What is returnable
Canvas, giclee prints, tapestries, and puzzles are covered.
Eligible shop items include ready-to-hang canvas prints, archival giclee fine art prints, Lakehouse Goods wall tapestries, and Lakehouse Goods art puzzles. Returned items should be unused, undamaged, and sent back in their original packaging when possible.
This page is mainly for regular shop products. If your order involves commissioned or personalized artwork, contact me directly and I will review that order with care.

What happens in the common situations.
If the size or room fit is not right
Email studio@lakehouseportraits.com within 7 days of delivery. I will confirm the return instructions before anything is shipped back.
For returns based on size choice, color preference, change of mind, or how the piece feels in the room, return shipping is the buyer's responsibility.
If a large piece needs to come back
Large canvas returns are accepted within the same 7-day window, but they need to be packed carefully and shipped with tracking.
Because larger pieces can be costly to move, the buyer pays return shipping unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.
If the order arrives damaged
Email within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item, packaging, and shipping label. Please keep the packaging while the issue is being reviewed.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect orders are handled separately. I will help arrange a replacement, refund, or other solution depending on the situation and the production partner's claim process.
When refunds are issued
For standard returns, refunds are issued after the returned item has been received and checked. Items should come back unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging when possible.
There is no separate standard shipping charge to refund when shipping was already included in the item price.
How to start
Start with an email before sending anything back.
Send the order details.
Email your order number, delivery date, and the reason for the return to studio@lakehouseportraits.com.
Wait for instructions.
I will confirm whether the return is approved and where the item should be sent. Please do not ship anything back before that step.
Pack it with care.
Use the original packaging when possible. For large canvas returns, a tracked shipment helps protect both sides of the return.
