Shipping
What buyers usually want to know first
Shipping is included on every order
No extra shipping code is needed. The price you see is designed to include standard shipping for Lakehouse Portrait Co. artwork, including fine art prints and canvas prints.
Most fine art prints arrive in about 10 days to 2 weeks
Fine art prints are professionally produced after your order is placed, then packed and shipped with care. Timing can vary a little during busy seasons, but 10 days to 2 weeks is a good planning window.
If a print arrives damaged, I will help make it right
If your artwork arrives bent, creased, or damaged in transit, email me with your order number and clear photos of the print, packaging, and shipping label. Damage in transit is protected through the print lab.
Fine art prints are paper prints, not framed pieces. They are made for the frame, mat, and room you choose yourself.
Paper & Printing
Why this feels different from a poster
Printed with archival inks
Giclee printing uses high-resolution inkjet printing and archival inks for rich color, fine detail, and a more artful finish than a standard poster print.
Textured fine art paper gives the artwork presence
The paper surface helps hold color, movement, and brushwork beautifully, especially in water, moss, shade, reflected light, and small wildlife details.
Choose paper when you want to frame it your way
Fine art prints are best when you want control over the final frame, mat, wood tone, and wall size. Choose canvas when you want a finished, ready-to-hang piece.
FAQ
Questions before you choose
Is shipping really included?
Yes. Shipping is included on every Lakehouse Portrait Co. order, including fine art prints and canvas prints. No shipping code is needed.
How long does shipping take?
Most fine art print orders arrive in about 10 days to 2 weeks. Because the prints are professionally produced and packed after the order is placed, timing can vary slightly during holidays or busy production periods.
What if my print arrives damaged?
Please email me with your order number and clear photos of the damaged print, the packaging, and the shipping label. Damage in transit is protected through the print lab, and I will help get the issue handled as kindly and quickly as possible.
Are fine art prints framed?
No. Fine art prints arrive as paper prints, ready for the frame you choose. This option is best if you want the artwork to match a specific room, mat, wood tone, gallery wall, or gift style.
What is the difference between fine art prints and canvas prints?
Fine art prints are paper prints made for framing. Canvas prints are stretched, gallery-wrapped, and ready to hang. If you want to choose your own frame, choose a fine art print. If you want a finished wall piece right out of the box, choose canvas.
What is a giclee print?
A giclee print is a high-quality fine art reproduction made with archival inkjet printing. It is a good fit for artwork because it holds color, detail, and softer painterly shifts better than a standard poster-style print.
What kind of paper are the fine art prints on?
These prints are produced on textured fine art paper chosen for an artful surface, rich color, and a more tactile finish. The texture is especially beautiful with lake light, shaded banks, flowers, moss, fish, turtles, and other small freshwater details.
Can I return or exchange a fine art print?
Because each print is produced for the order, returns and exchanges are limited. If something arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact me right away so I can help.
Will the colors match my screen exactly?
Screen color can vary from phone to phone and monitor to monitor, so an exact match is not always possible. The goal is a beautiful, faithful art print with the same feeling, color story, and detail as the original Lakehouse Portrait Co. artwork.
Where is the artwork inspired by?
The artwork is inspired by freshwater places: Kentucky coves, wooded banks, clear water, mossy edges, wildflowers, turtles in shade, fish moving under the surface, and the quiet rooms where lake memories seem to stay.
