Art Shop Return Policy

Because each piece is selected and prepared with care, art shop purchases are final sale. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for change of mind, personal preference, or because the artwork does not match your space. We encourage you to review product details, sizing, and framing notes carefully before placing your order.


Damaged Orders or Shipping Damage

If your art shop order arrives damaged, please email studio@lakehouseportraits.com as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours and no later than 72 hours after delivery. Include photos of the artwork, packaging, and shipping label so we can review the claim and arrange a replacement if approved.


Privacy Policy

This website is hosted by Squarespace, which may collect browser, device, IP address, cookie, and site-usage data to operate and protect the site. We also collect the information you provide when you place an order, contact us, or submit a photo, including your name, email, shipping details, and order information. We use this information to create and fulfill your artwork, communicate with you, and coordinate payment and shipping. We do not sell your personal information or use client images publicly or for marketing without permission.


Custom Order Terms

By placing an order, you confirm that you own or have permission to use any photo you submit and authorize Lakehouse Portrait Co. to use it solely to create your commissioned artwork. We may make reasonable artistic adjustments to lighting, color, composition, and surrounding elements to create a cohesive final piece. If a submitted photo is not suitable for production, we may request a replacement, suggest an alternative, or cancel the order before production begins. Major change requests after work begins may require an additional fee.
