I review your photographs and the details that matter most, then create the artwork for the commission you choose. The $295 custom canvas is printed with archival inks on a thick gallery-wrapped canvas. The watercolor and oil commissions are painted by hand.

Tell me what needs to stay recognizable when you share your photographs: a porch light, boat, dock, tree line, shoreline, or view from the water. I review those details before making the work. Original oil commissions also use an agreed scope and reference review.

Most custom canvases are completed in under 30 days. Original watercolors usually take 30 to 45 days. Original oil commissions require at least 90 days, with timing shaped by travel, season, studio schedule, and curing time.

Standard U.S. shipping is included with the custom canvas and original watercolor. For an original oil commission, hand delivery is arranged when practical; otherwise, insured shipping is quoted and arranged before the work leaves the studio.

Email studio@lakehouseportraits.com within 7 days of delivery with photographs of the artwork, packaging, and shipping label. Keep the packaging until the issue is resolved so I can help with the most practical next step.

Because custom artwork is created from your photographs, contact the studio with any questions about the commission before ordering. Damaged, defective, or incorrect orders are handled separately so the issue can be made right.

Yes. I use client photographs to create the artwork and communicate about the commission. I share them publicly only with the client’s permission.
