That last soft light before leaving the water.
High Top Evening Daisies was inspired by how beautiful High Top Boat Ramp always feels when we leave Laurel River Lake in the evening. There is a certain kind of quiet that happens at the end of a lake day, when the sun is low, the water starts reflecting peach and lavender, and everything around the shore feels softer.
This piece holds that feeling: white daisies in the foreground, little wildflowers along the bank, warm sunset over the lake, and the cool blue-green distance of the forest settling in around it.
Available Canvas Sizes
Printed as a wide matte canvas, this artwork is made for spaces that need lake light, softness, and shoreline color.
Color and Feeling
The palette leans sunset peach, misty blue, lake green, soft lavender, daisy white, golden yellow, blush pink, and deep forest green. It feels peaceful and feminine without being too sweet, with enough cool water and shadow to keep it grounded.
It is a little memory of leaving the lake at the right time, when the flowers are catching the last light and the water looks like it might hold the evening a few minutes longer.
How It Looks in a Room
The wide shape works especially well over sofas, beds, dining areas, consoles, and long lake house walls.
